Learning Files and Folders

So this weeks lesson was in two parts, saving a favourite or bookmark as some browsers now term it while learning about internet security and the second part about basic folder management.

There is so much information about internet security that it can be a case of information overload. The Age UK website is a good place to start and has a handy guide which can be downloaded as well as other good resources. I also like the GCFLearn website as another source.

So if you have been using computers for a while you’ll know there is more than one to complete pretty much every task. When learning how to do any task its about finding which way resonates with you. For example when moving files there are at least 3 ways of doing it, you have the shortcuts using CTRL X and CTRL V, dragging the files and the menus Move to… and so on. For more CTRL function have a look at this ctrl-short-cuts
